LUBRIKUP® FLUID-SEAL™ Rod Packing (FSRP) center rings flare open under pressure creating a tight seal to optimize performance with low emission boxes or very high pressures. This packing requires no tightening and performs best when run loose (finger tight). Style 435 is our performance grade stuffing box rod packing made from nitrile rubber reinforced with cotton fabric. Suitable for use in sweet crude with high oil-to-water ratios and low abrasive content. Available in all polished rod sizes from 0.750” to 2.000” and a wide range of heights to meet your stuffing box needs. For improved performance with abrasives, higher temperatures, steam, CO2 or H2S, use Style 544 DURATUFF®.

  • Overview

Features and Benefits:

  • Long lasting sealing performance in tough applications, providing more uptime
  • Pressure activated center sealing rings flare open under pressure creating a tight seal to minimize leakage making it ideal for low emissions boxes and high pressures
  • System pressure expands the sealing lips to compensate for wear until the packing is completely worn out
  • Requires no tightening and performs best when ran loose (finger-tight)

Typical Applications:

  • High oil-to-water ratio
  • Low abrasive content
  • Light crude oil
  • Strong chemicals
  • High temperature

Media Use:

  • Sweet crude oil
  • Salt water
