Garlock's KLOZURE® Model 59 Oil Seal with a MILL-RIGHT™ BLACK lip offers up to 81% improvement in abrasion resistance and greater temperature resistance than standard nitrile seals translating to higher equipment efficiencies, longer bearing life, increased production, and less maintenance. This seal is a great bearing protection option for high-speed rotary applications with severe shaft misalignment or in applications with frequent chock removal and installation. The reverse bevel sealing lip prevents lip rollover seen in common lip designs, reducing leaks from installation error. Unlike bonded seals where the rubber to metal bond can fail, resulting in leaks and lack of bearing protection, the Model 59 seal performance is assured with our assembled combination of a sealing element, heavy duty metal case, adapter ring, and a molded in finger spring. For optimal performance requiring greater misalignment consider KLOZURE® Model 64. For applications requiring minimal misalignment, consider KLOZURE® Model 53. For improved chemical resistance or performance with higher temperatures and similar abrasion resistance, upgrade to a MILL-RIGHT™ V lip.
