Specifically designed for sealing slurry and abrasive service, Style 1965 is well suited for mild to medium slurry application. It can provide performance to last to the next planned outage with little or no abrasiveness on shafts, greatly reducing equipment wear. It is a thermal stable packing that remains manageable, easy to cut and install. For added wear resistance, use Style 1965-K reinforced with para-aramid. Manufactured from a blend of our patented fiber-infused PTFE-graphite yarns and SYNTHEPAK® yarns, impregnated with PTFE suspension then coated with snow-white petrolatum break-in lube. Style 1965 can be used in a wide variety of applications.
